Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad ibn ‘Uthman from ‘Amr ibn al-Ash‘ath who said: I heard Abu ‘Abdallah (From Him is Peace) say the following: “Do you think that a successor from us chooses whoever he wants as the executor of his will? No, I swear by Allah, it is not so. It is a covenant from Allah and His Messenger to a man and then to the next man until the matter is delivered to its rightful owner.” Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Jumhur from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Minhal from ‘Amr ibn al-Ash‘ath from Abu ‘Abdallah (From Him is Peace) a similar hadith.
Al-Kāfi - Volume 1, The Imamat (Leadership with Divine Authority) is a Covenant from Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, Delivered as such by the preceding Imam to the succeeding Imam (From Him is Peace) one after the other, Hadith #2 (https://thaqalayn.net/hadith/1/4/60/2)
Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from those whom he has mentioned from Muhammad ibn Sulayman from ‘Abdullah ibn Latif al-Taflisiy from Razin who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abdillah (From Him is Peace), has said, ‘When al-Husayn ibn Ali (a.s) was hit with the sword and his head fell, and they were about to sever his head, an announcer announced from the depth of the Throne, “O straying nation in confusion after its Prophet, Allah will not unite you in al-Adha’ and in al-Fitr!” He (the narrator) said that abu ‘Abdillah (a.s) then said, ‘Thereafter, by Allah, they did not unite and will not unite until the avenger of al-Husayn (a.s) takes revenge.”
Al-Kāfi - Volume 4, Book 2, Chapter #74, (https://thaqalayn.net/hadith/4/2/74/3)
A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn Bilal from al-Hassan ibn Bassam al-Jammal from a man who has said the following: “I once was with abu ‘Abd Allah (From Him is Peace), between Makkah and al-Madinah in the month of al-Sha‘ban and he (the Imam) was fasting; then we saw the crescent of the month of Ramadan and he (the Imam) stopped fasting. I then said, ‘I pray to Allah to keep my soul in service for your cause, yesterday was of the month of al-Sha‘ban and you were fasting, but today is of the month of Ramadan and you are not fasting. He (the Imam) said, ‘That was optional and it is up to us to do what we want, but this is obligatory and we have no choice but to do what we are commanded to do.’”

He (Ali Bin Ibrahim) said, ‘The Jinn are from the children of the Jaan; from them are the believers and the disbelievers, and Jews and Christians and of different religions; and the Satans (may Allah curse them) are from the children of Iblees, and there isn’t any believer among them except one. His name is Ham Ibn Haym Bin Al-Qays Bin Iblees (may Allah curse him). He came to Rasool-Allah (PBUH & His Family) and he (PBUH & His Family) saw him of a large body, a terrifying person. He (PBUH & His Family) said to him: ‘Who are you?’ He said, ‘I am Ham Bin Haym Bin Al-Qays Bin Iblees. When it was the day Qabeella killed Habeelas, I was a boy of age of ending from the clinging and in charge of the spoilage of food’.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hishim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Ibrahim ibn ‘Umar al-Yamani from Aban ibn abu ‘Ayyash from Sulaym ibn Qays al-Hilali who has said the following. “I said to Imam Ali (PBUH), ‘I have heard from Salman, al-Miqdad and Abu Dhar certain matters about the interpretations of the holy Quran and certain hadiths of the Prophet of Allah (PBUH & His Family) which is different from the one in the hands of the people. Then, I heard from you confirming what I heard from them, and I saw in the hands of people many things from the interpretation of the Quran and from the hadiths of the Prophet of Allah (PBUH & His Family). You disagree with them on these matters and claim that all of it is false. Do you think people ascribe lies to the holy Prophet (PBUH & His Family) purposely and interpret by their own personal opinions?”
The Imam then said, “You have posed a question now listen carefully. “What people have consists of the truth, falsehood, lies, what is abrogating, already abrogated, facts of general nature, of particular natures, clear texts, unclear texts, facts properly memorized and matters that are conjecturally preserved. People had forged certain narration calling them as Hadith of the holy Prophet. The condition was such that once the holy Prophet addressed the people from the pulpit saying, “O people a many lies have spread around and they are considered to be my Hadith. Whoever forges lies and calls them my Hadith has filled up his seat with fire. After the Prophet of Allah (PBUH & His Family) there were more of such lies. There are four kinds of Hadith only and there is no fifth kind. “One narrator of Hadith is a hypocrite who outwardly shows faith and pretends to be a Muslim. He does not consider it a sin nor does he hesitate to lie about the Messenger of Allah (PBUH & His Family) deliberately. If people knew that he was a hypocrite and a liar, they would not accept anything from him, nor would they believe him. However, they say, 'He has accompanied the Messenger of Allah (PBUH & His Family) informed him about the hypocrites as He has described them. “Their physical appearance attracts you when you see them and when they speak, you carefully listen to them . .” 63:4 They hypocrites then sought closeness to the misguiding leaders and those calling other to hell fire with falsehood, lies and false accusations. The misguiding rulers assigned them for certain offices made them to dominate people. They with their help devoured the world. People follow only the kings and the worldly gains except for those that Allah has protected. This is one of the four kinds. “The other kind is one who has heard Hadith from the holy Prophet by the has preserved it the way it should have been preserved but he is uncertain about it. He has not fabricated anything purposely and has it with him. He speaks about it, practices accordingly and narrates it saying; “ I heard it from the Messenger of Allah (PBUH & His Family). If the Muslims would learn that he is uncertain about it they would accept it from him and if he also would know that there exists uncertainty in it even he also would reject it. “The third kind is one who has heard something form the Messenger of Allah (PBUH & His Family) that contained a command but latter the holy Prophet prohibited it but the man did not have any knowledge of such prohibition. Or that he heard a prohibition form the holy Prophet and then the holy Prophet made it a command but the man did not know of such commandment. In this way preserved the abrogated but not the abrogating but if he knew the abrogating thereof he would have rejected it. If the Muslims knew what they had heard from was abrogated they would also have rejected it. “The last and forth kind is one who has not ascribed a lie to the holy Prophet who hates lies has fear of Allah for respect of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH & His Family). He has not forgotten anything but that he has preserved it the way it should have been preserved. He speaks it just the way has heard with out any addition or omission. He knows which is abrogating and which is abrogated.
He thus has practiced according to the abrogating and has rejected the abrogated. There is no doubt that the command so of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH & His Family) like the holy Quran is abrogating and abrogated, of general nature and of particular nature, clear text and unclear text. Oftentimes the statements of the holy Prophet may have two aspects: Like a general statement and a statement of a particular nature just like the holy Quran as All, Most Majestic, the Most Glorious, has said, “ . .Take only what the Messenger gives to you and desist from what he forbids you . (59:7)” It may become confusing for one who does not know what exactly Allah and His messenger want people to do. All the companions of the holy Prophet were not as such that would clearly understand the answer to their questions. There were those who would ask a question but would not ask for explanations and would rather love the coming of a Bedouin or a stranger and ask the holy Prophet questions so that he would also listen. “I would go in the presence of the holy Prophet once every day and once every night when he would admit me and we would deal with me the way he wanted. The Sahabah, companions of the Prophet knew that the holy Prophet would not deal with others the he dealt with me. Also the Prophet would come to my house most of the time but when I would go to any one of his houses he would admit me and would ask his wife to leave us alone and then we would have been the only ones therein. When he would come to my house he would ask Fatimah or any of my children to leave the house then whatever would ask he would answer me and when I would have exhausted all of my questions he would begin from his side. Thus, nothing of the holy Quran has ever been revealed the holy prophet had made me to read it and dictated me to and I wrote it down with my own hand writing. He taught me the interpretations of that verse and its explanations, its abrogating or that which was abrogated, the clear texts and the unclear statements, the ones of particular general nature. He would pray to Allah to give me understanding and strong memory. I never forgot any of the verses of the book of Allah or any of the knowledge that he had dictated to me which I wrote them down from the time he prayed to Allah for me. He did not leave any thing of the lawful and unlawful, commands or prohibitions that were there or that would come into being in future or any book that were revealed to anyone before him about the matters of obedience or disobedience that he had not completely taught me and I had not memorized them all. I have not forgotten of them even a single letter. The holy Prophet once placed his hand on my chest and prayed to Allah to fill my heart, with knowledge, proper understanding, wisdom and light. I then said, “O messenger of Allah, may Allah take the soul of my mother and father in service for your cause, from the time you prayed for me I have not forgotten a single matter or missed to write down anything. Do you fear that I might forget them in future?“ He replied “I do not fear for you any forgetfulness of ignorance.”
Al-Kāfi - Volume 1, Chapter on the Differences in al-Hadith, Hadith #1 (https://thaqalayn.net/hadith/1/2/21/1)
The Prophet Muhammad pbuhap said to Ali bin Abi Talib on the night of his death, “O Father of Al-Hassan, bring me a pen and a paper”, and he dictated his will until he came to a position where he said, “O Ali, there will be twelve Imams after me and after them there will be twelve Mahdis. You, O Ali, are the first of the twelve Imams, Allah has named you in his heavens Ali Al- Mortatha, The Prince of the Believers, the Grand Truthful, the Bright Differentiator between truth and falsehood, the trusted, and the Mahdi (the rightly guided). These names may not to be truly attributed to other than you. O Ali, you are my successor over my family, their living and their deceased, and over my women. Whomever you affirm shall find me tomorrow, and whomever you reject I am innocent of her. I will not see her and she will not see me on the Day of Resurrection. And you are the successor (Khalifa) upon my nation after me. If death approaches you, hand it over to my son Al-Hassan the very beneficial. Then if death approaches him, let him hand it over to my son Al- Hussein, the martyr, the pure, the assassinated. Then if death approaches him, let him hand it over to his son, the master of the worshippers, Ali. Then if death approaches him, let him hand it over to his son, Muhammed Al-Baqir. Then if death approaches him, let him hand it over to his son, Jafar Al-Sadiq. Then if death approaches him, let him hand it over to his son, Musa Al-Kathum. Then if death approaches him, let him hand it over to his son, Ali Al-Retha. Then if death approaches him, let him hand it over to his son Muhammad, the trustworthy, the pious. Then if death approaches him, let him hand it over to his son Ali, the advisor. Then if death approaches him, let him hand it over to his son Al-Hassan, the virtuous. Then if death approaches him, let him hand it over to his son, Muhammad the Entrusted of the Holy Family of Muhammad peace be upon them. So these are the twelve Imams. Then after him, there will be twelve Mahdis. So if death approaches him, let him hand it over to his son, the first of the close ones, he has three names, one like mine and my father’s: Abdullah (servant of Allah), Ahmad and the third name is The Mahdi (rightly guided). He is the first of the believers.”

Criterion 1. He is divinely appointed and his name is clearly mentioned in the will of the person who is appointing him.
And (remember) as your Lord said to the Angels, "Surely I am making in the earth a vicegerent”. Holy Qu'ran, Al-Baqara Verse 30
And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers. Holy Qu'ran, Al-Baqara Verse 34
It was narrated from Abd Al A'ala that he said, I said to Abi Abdillah (peace be upon him): 'The one who claims this matter, what is his proof?', he said: 'He is asked about the halal and haram'. He said, then Ali came and said: 'Three proofs do not gather in a person except that he is the companion of this matter: That he be the most deserving [of the right] of the one who was before him, that he has the weapon, and that he be the owner of the apparent will'. Al Kafi by Al-Kulaini, vol. 1, p. 284
“And if he had made up concerning Us some [false] sayings. We would have seized him by the right hand. Then We would have cut from him the aorta”. Holy Qur'an, Al-Haqqah Verse 44-46 And Imam Al-Sadiq (from him is peace) said: “This is a matter that can not be claimed except by its companion, otherwise Allah would destroy the age of the one who falsely claims it”. Al Kafi by Al-Kuleini volume 1 page 372
Criterion 2. The person has to have divine knowledge.
“And He taught Adam the names, all of them; then he presented them to the angels, and said, "Tell Me the names of these, if you are sincere." - The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 2 (Al-Baqarah), Verse 31
He said, "O Adam, tell them their names." And when he told them their names, He said, "Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of the heavens and the earth, and that I know what you reveal and what you conceal?" - The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 2 (Al-Baqarah), Verse 33
Al-Mufadhdhal bin Umar had said: I heard Abu Abdullah as-Sadiq (from him is peace) saying: “The companion of this matter has two absences. After one of them he comes back to his family and regarding the other one it is said: “He has perished , which valley he has followed?” I said: “If that takes place, then what will we do?” He said: “If a claimant claims it (that he is Al-Qaim), you are to ask him about the great matters, which no one will answer except him Al-Qaim”. Al-Kafi, vol.1 p.340, Ithbat al-Hudat, vol.3 p.445, Biharul Anwar, vol.52 p.157, Mo’jam Ahadeeth al-Imam al-Mahdi, vol.3 p.364.
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH & His Family): "…He has a knowledge which, if the time of its emergence comes, this knowledge will spread from its own self, and Allah will make the knowledge pronounce so the knowledge will call him: ‘Emerge O Wali of Allah. Kill the enemies of Allah’! Bihar Al-Anwar, vol.52, page 311.
Criterion 3. The Vicegerent of Allah always calls towards God
“Have you not seen the eminences of the Children of Israel after Moses when they said to a prophet of theirs, "Send to us a king, and we will fight in the way of God”? - The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 2 (Al-Baqarah), Verse 246.
“The Qaim/Riser shall rise with a new matter, and a new book, and a new jurisprudence/rule which will be hard for the Arabs.” - Kitab Al-Ghayba (Book of Occultation), Al-Numani, Vol. 1, p. 236.
Imam Al Sadiq (From Him is Peace) stated, “If the Riser rises he shall call the people to a new Islam, and he shall guide them to a matter that was lost and that the people strayed from, and verily the Riser was called a Mahdi [a Guide] because he guides to a matter which is lost, and he was called a Riser because he rises with the truth.” - Bihar Al-Anwar , Al-Allamah Al-Majlisi, Vol. 51, p. 30
Imam Al-Baqir (From Him is Peace) said: "When our Qaim rises, he will call the people to a new matter, as the Messenger of Allah (PBUH & His Family) called. And verily, Islam started as something strange, and it will return as something strange, so glad tidings to the strangers." - Ghaybat Al-No’mani P336, Bihar Al-Anwar V52 P366
Imam Al-Sadiq (From Him is Peace) said about that the Qaim (From Him is Peace): "When the companion of the sword comes, he comes with something different than what was before him." - Al-Kafi V1 p536.
"When the Qaim rises he comes with a matter which is different than what was." – Ghaybat AlToosi p307.
Abu Ja’far (Imam Al-Baqir) (From Him is Peace) said: "The Qa’im rises with a new matter and a new book and a new ruling, which will be difficult upon the Arabs. His affair will not be except the sword, أحدا یستتیب لا, and he will not fear the blame of anyone." - Ghaybat al No’mani p238, Bihar alAnwar v52 p354.
The Commander of the Believers Imam Ali (From Him is Peace) said in a long sermon: "…and he reveals to the people a new book, and it is difficult and severe upon the disbelievers. He calls the people towards a matter, whoever acknowledge it will be guided, and whoever denies it will be misguided. So woe, and all woe, to whoever denies it…" - Ilzam Al-Nasib 2/174-190
Imam Al-Baqir (From Him is Peace) said: "Verily he was named Al-Mahdi (the guided one) because he guides to a matter that has been hidden, so much so that he will send to a man to be killed [even though] the people did not know any sin for this man." - Bihar alAnwar v52 p389.
Ibn Atta said: I asked Abu Jafar Al-Baqir (From Him is Peace) and said: "When the Qaim (From Him is Peace) rises, how does he walk among the people?" So he (From Him is Peace) said: "He demolishes what preceded him, as the Messenger of Allah (PBUH & His Family) did, and he brings Islam anew." – Ghaybat AlNo’mani p236, Bihar AlAnwar v52 p352
Abu Abdullah (From Him is Peace) said: "[The Qa’im] does what the Messenger of Allah sawas did; He demolishes what has preceded him, as the Messenger of Allah (PBUH & His Family) demolished the matter of the Jahiliyyah, and he restores Islam anew." – Ghaybat Al-Nomani p336, Bihar AlAnwar v52 p352
Muhammad Ibn Ijlan narrated: Imam Al-Sadiq (From Him is Peace) said: "when our Qa'im rises he shall call people anew to Islam and shall guide them to the things that were annihilated and from which people had turned away. He is called Mahdi because he will guide people to the thing from which they have been separated. He is called Al-Qa'im because of his rise for the truth." – Al-Irshad, v2, p383; Bihar al-Anwar, v51, p30, hadith 7
It is narrated from Fazal from Abdulrahman from Ibn Abu Hamza from Abu Basir from Imam Ja’far Al-Sadiq (From Him is Peace) that he said: "The Qaim (From Him is Peace) would demolish the Masjid al-Haraam till it returns to it's ancient form and he would also return the Prophet’s Masjid (Masjidun Nabawi) to it's original construction and he would return the Holy Kaaba to its location and raise it on its own foundations. He will cut off the hand of Bani Shaibah and hang it on the Kaaba as they are the thieves of the Kaaba." - Ghaibat Tusi.
Ali bin al-Husayn narrated from Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Abu Nasr from Aasim bin Hameed alHannat from Abu Baseer that Abu Ja'far al-Baqir (From Him is Peace) had said: “Al-Qa'im will rise with a new task, new principles and new judgements. He will be severe with the Arabs. He will do not but killing. He will not forgive anyone and he will not care for any blame because he acts for the sake of Allah. - Ghaybat AlNo’mani p.340, Ithbat al-Hudat, vol.3 p.540, Bihar ul Anwar, vol.52 p.354, Mo’jam Ahadeeth al-Imam al-Mahdi, vol.3 p.253
Adam (PBUH)
Then Satan tempted them in order to expose what was hidden of their nakedness. He said, “Your Lord has forbidden this tree to you only to prevent you from becoming angels or immortals.”
وَقَاسَمَهُمَآ إِنِّى لَكُمَا لَمِنَ ٱلنَّـٰصِحِينَ ٢١
And he swore to them, “I am truly your sincere advisor.”
So he brought about their fall through deception. And when they tasted of the tree, their nakedness was exposed to them, prompting them to cover themselves with leaves from Paradise. Then their Lord called out to them, “Did I not forbid you from that tree and ˹did I not˺ tell you that Satan is your sworn enemy?”
They replied, “Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will certainly be losers.”
O children of Adam! Do not let Satan deceive you as he tempted your parents out of Paradise and caused their cover to be removed in order to expose their nakedness. Surely he and his soldiers watch you from where you cannot see them. We have made the devils allies of those who disbelieve.
{They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allah} (Holy Quran, At-Tawba: verse 31). Imam Al-Baqir (pbuh) interpreted the verse as:“…As for their scholars and monks, verily they have obeyed them and have taken their sayings, and they followed what they ordered them and submitted to what they called to , so they took them (the scholars) as gods by obeying them, leaving what Allah, His books and messengers ordered, so they rejected it (the order), leaving it behind their backs, and followed what the scholars and monks ordered, and they obeyed them and disobeyed Allah. Verily , He mentioned this in our book so that we may take a lesson from them…” Tafsir Al-Qommi, Ali Ibrahim Al-Qommi, v.1, p.289
{They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allah} (Holy Quran, At-Tawba: verse 31). Imam Al-Sadiq (pbuh) interpreted the verse as:“They (the scholars) did not call them to worship them, and if they had they would not have answered them, but they made matters lawful for them and forbade matters for them, so they took it, so they were their gods instead of Allah.” Bihar Al-Anwar, Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi, v.9, p.212, hadith 87
“There will come a time upon the people when nothing will remain of Islam except its name and nothing will remain of the Quran except its words. Their mosques will be splendidly furnished but destitute of guidance. Their scholars will be the worst people under the Heaven; strife (fitna) will issue from them and avert to them.” Mishkat al-Masabih 1/91 Hadith 276
Al-Fudayl ibn Yasar narrated: “I heard Imam Al-Sadiq (pbuh) saying: “When our Qa’im rises he will face the ignorance of the people more severely than what the Messenger of Allah (pbuhahf) faced from the ignorant ones of Jahiliyya (before Islam).” I asked, “How would this be?” He (pbuh) said: “Verily, the Messenger of Allah (pbuhahf) came to people who were worshipping stones, rocks and carved wood, and when our Qa’im rises, he shall come to the people, all of them interpreting the Book of Allah and protesting against his interpretation. He then said: By Allah, his (meaning the Qa’im’s) justice shall enter inside their houses, just as the heat and the cold enter them.” Al-Ghayba, Ibn Abi Zainab Al-No’mani, p.307, hadith 1 (Online book: p.305), Mo’jam Ahadeeth Al-Imam Al-Mahdi, Ali Al-Korani, v.3, p.500, hadith 1072 (Online book: p.493)
Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: The Prophet (PBUH & His Family) said, "You will follow the ways of those nations who were before you, span by span and cubit by cubit (i.e., inch by inch) so much so that even if they entered a hole of a mastigure, you would follow them." We said, "O Allah's Messenger (PBUH & His Family)! (Do you mean) the Jews and the Christians?" He said, "Who else?" Sahih al-Bukhari 7320, Book 96, Hadith 50, Vol. 9, Book 92, Hadith 422
“The Qa'im/Riser comes with a new matter, a new book and a new judgment which is difficult upon the Arabs.” - Kitab Al-Ghayba (Book of Occultation), Al-Numani, Vol. 1, p. 236
Al-Mufaddal asked Imam Ja’far Al-Sadiq (pbuh): “May I be your ransom, how can Allah make obedience to someone an obligation upon His servants, then He veils/hides from him the mysteries of the heavens?” He (pbuh) said: “Allah is more generous and merciful to his servants than to make it obligatory upon them to obey someone whom the mysteries of the heavens have been veiled from him day or night. Bihar Al-Anwar, Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi, v.26, p.109, hadith 1
“…scholars of that time will be the most evil scholars under the sky. Fitna will come from them and to them it shall return.” Bihar Al-Anwar, Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi, v.2, p.109, hadith 14, Al-Kafi, Muhammad ibn Yaqub Al-Kulaini, v.8, p.308, hadith 479, Kanz Al-Ummal, Al-Muttaki Al-Hindi, v.11, p.181, hadith 31135
Imam Hasan Al-Askari PBUH narrated that Imam Ja’far Al-Sadiq PBUH said, “… As for those among the jurisprudent who are guarding themselves, safeguarding their religion, opposing their desire, and obeying their (Mawla) Master, then it is for the common people to imitate them…” Bihar Al-Anwar, Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi, v.2, p.88, Tafsir Imam Al-Askari (pbuh), p.300
Strangely, this hadith is used by scholars to prove their absolute authority over us, and that we are obligated to follow them, but the hadith doesn’t stop there. They tend to omit the rest of our Imam Ja’far Al Sadiq’s words, which continue as:
“…. and they (the jurisprudents) are more harmful to the weak ones of our Shia than the army of Yazid was to Hussain son of Ali (pbut) and his companions, for they take away from them their lives and money … And those evil scholars, that claim to be loyal to us and hostile to our enemies, cause doubt and ‘Shubha’ (what seems like the truth) to enter the weak ones of our Shia, so they misguide them and prevent them from reaching the real truth.” Bihar Al-Anwar, Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi, v.2, p.88, Tafsir Imam Al-Askari (pbuh), p.301
Imam Ja’far Al-Sadiq (PBUH) asked Abu Hanifa: “Which is greater in the eyes of God, adultery or murder?” He said: “Murder”.
He (PBUH) said: “Verily, God demanded two witnesses for murder and four for adultery. If it was based on reasoning and comparison (qiyas), then four witnesses should have been for murder, because it’s greater.”
Then he (PBUH) asked: “Which is greater in the eyes of God, prayers or fasting?”
He replied: “The prayers.”
He (pbuh) said: “Prophet Muhammad (pbuhahf) ordered the menstruating woman to make up for missed days of fasting but not for the missed prayers. If it was based on reasoning and comparison (qiyas), then it would have been obligatory to make up for the prayers.”
– Bihar Al-Anwar, Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi, v.10, p.221, hadith 22
Imam Ali (PBUH) said: “And he (Imam Mahdi) shall take revenge from the Fatwa issuers in religion from what they do not know, so woe unto them and their followers; was religion incomplete and they completed it? Or was it crooked and they straightened it? Or were the people about to oppose it and they agreed to it? Or did it force them to do righteousness and they sinned against it?” Ilzam Al-Nasib fi Ithbat Al-Hujjah Al-Gha’eb, Ali Al-Ha’eri, v.2, p.197
In "The Sermon of Hajj" Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan (From Him is Peace) speaks a lot about the stance of the deviant clerics towards him as the successor of Imam Al-Mahdi (PBUH & His Family). He says...
"I am calling you, oh People, to save yourselves from the test of those deviant misguided misguiding clerics.
Ponder the situation of the nations which preceded you. Do you find the deviant clerics supporting a prophet from the prophets, or a successor from the successors? So do not repeat the same thing again by following those deviant clerics and fighting the successor of Imam Al-Mahdi the way the nations before you have followed the deviant clerics and fought the successors and the sent prophets.
Be fair to yourselves for once and ask yourselves this question, “Have you asked the Messenger of Allah and the Imams about the End of Time Clerics before you ask the End of Time Clerics about the successor of Imam Al-Mahdi?” Have you asked the Quran about the clerics that if a prophet or successor is sent, what their constant attitude would be? Have you asked the Quran who kindled the fire for Abraham and who wanted to kill Jesus and who fought Noah, Hud, Saleh, Shuaib, Moses, Jonah and all the prophets and successors?
If you are not fair to yourselves and do not answer this question now, then surely you will answer it in hellfire by the answer,
{And they say, “Our Lord verily we obeyed our masters and great men and they misled us from the Way.”}
And if you ask Allah in the Miraj narration you will find the answer, where the Messenger asked Allah in the Miraj in a long narration until the Messenger of Allah said, I said, “Oh Lord, so when will that be (referring to the rising of the Qaim)?” So He revealed to me, “That shall be when knowledge has disappeared and ignorance has appeared, the reciters increase and the practicing ones decrease, the murders increase and the guiding clerics decrease and the treacherous Clerics of Misguidance increase.” (...)
I am calling you, Oh People, to leave worshiping those Idols as they have made halal what Allah has made haram and they have made haram what Allah has made halal, so you obeyed them therefore you worshiped them besides Allah. (...)
I call you to acknowledge the Supremacy of Allah and reject the Supremacy of People. I call you to obedience of Allah and to reject the obedience of Satan and the obedience of his counterparts from the deviant Clerics. (...)
Proceed towards the bitterness of the truth as in the bitter remedy is the cure for the chronic disease. Proceed towards the truth which shall leave you no friend. Proceed towards the truth and the light while you want for nothing but Allah and the hereafter, away from the ornaments of this world and it's darkness."
Reported on the authority of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH & His Family), he said: "A time will come for my Ummah during which nothing will remain from the Quran save it's scripting, and nothing will remain from Islam save it's name. They will be called Muslims while they are as far as one can be from Islam. Their mosques will be filled with people but they will be void of right guidance. The jurists of that time will be the most evil ever under the sky; they have sown disorder and disorder they shall reap." – Al-Bihar, vol. 52, p. 190, h. 21
The Prophet (PBUH & His Family) said to Ibn Masud: “... O Ibn Masud, there will come a time when the person who is still adhering to his religion will feel as if he were holding an ember in the palm of his hand. Therefore, he should act like a wolf, otherwise he would be eaten by wolves. O Ibn Masud, their scholars and jurists are dissolute traitors. Even worse, they are the evil creations of Allah and so are their followers, visitors, people who deal with them, love them, sit with them and counsel with them. Behold the Evil creations of God, the fires of hell find their way through them and they are deaf, dumb and blind and would not return. We shall assemble them on the Day of Resurrection and squeeze them deaf, dumb and blind because they belong in hell. Whenever the fires start to die out we shall boost the blaze, and whenever their skins ripen we shall substitute them with other skins so they would feel agony. If thrown in the fire, they would hear it's inhalation ripping through, and the fire would flare up almost furious whenever they want to get out of it, anguished, but they would be thrown back in it and doomed to taste the excruciating pain of burning. In it they have an exhalation but in it they do not hear. O Ibn Masud, they claim that they follow my religion, my Sunnah, my way, my laws but they have nothing to do with me, neither do I have anything to do with them. O Ibn Masud, do not sit with them in public! Do not pledge allegiance to them in the markets! ...” – Ilzaam an-Naaseb volume 2 pages 131-132
Reported on the authority of the Prophet (PBUH & His Family), who said: "Allah revealed to some of His prophets: Say unto those who study jurisprudence with aims other than religion, learn with aims other than action, and claim this life with aims other than the Afterlife; and who come forth before people wrapped in scapegoat cloaks while their hearts are similar to hearts of wolves, their words sweeter than honey, their acts bitterer than aloe, deceiving and mocking Me, that I shall inflict upon them an affliction that will throw the wise into confusion." – Bihar Al-Anwar, vol. 1, p. 224, Iddat Ad-da’I, p. 70.
In the book of Al-Yanabi’, it was mentioned: "When Al-Qa’im (PBUH) appears, he will not have any apparent enemy save for the jurists, in particular. He and the sword will be inseparable, for if the sword were not in his hand, the jurists would issue Fatwas ordering his death. However, Allah will bring him forth endowed with the sword as well as with generosity, so they will obey, fear and accept his rule without faith therein while harboring disobedience." – Yanabi’ Al- Mawaddat, vol. 3, p. 215
It was narrated from the Ahlulbayt (PBUT): “Verily, we Ahlulbayt have a banner, whoever goes ahead of it has renegaded, and whoever is late to it has perished, and whoever follows it has followed [us], it is written on it: ‘Allegiance is to Allah!’” 250 Signs, Mohammad Ali Tabatabaei, 1st ed., p.19
In the book of Sulaym ibn Qais Al Hilali: Aban narrated that the Prince of the Believers ascended the Minbar and gave a long speech and said: “Verily me, and the pious of my family and the best of my progeny, are the most gentle when young and the most knowledgeable of adults. We have the banner of truth and guidance, whoever goes ahead of it perishes, and whoever deserts it is destroyed, and whoever holds on to it, has followed [us].” Bihar Al-Anwar, Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi, 3rd ed., v.34, p.262, hadith 1006
From Musaada ibn Sadaka, from Aba Abdillah (PBUH) that the Prince of the Believers (PBUH) said in his sermon called ‘Al-Makhzoon’: “Banners will approach from the East of the Earth, they are not cotton, nor linen, nor silk. They are sealed on the head of the spear by the seal of the Greater Sayyed (Prophet Muhammad pbuhahf), led by a man from the Family of Muhammad (PBUH and his family), they will appear in the East and their scent will be present in the West like strong musk. Horror will be in front of them for a month, and the sons of Saad will succeed the ‘water carriers’ of Kufa demanding the blood of their fathers, and they are the sons of the immoral ones. Until the horses of Al-Hussain (From Him is Peace) attack them, racing like two horses on a bet. Dusty, sandy faces, people of grief and joy. They would stomp their feet crying and saying: “There is no goodness in us sitting after today, O Allah, we are the repenters, the submissive, the bowing and prostrating ones”, and they are the Abdaal whom Allah described in His Book “Allah loves the repenters and those who purify themselves” and the purified ones are their likes from the Family of Muhammad…” Mukhtasar Basa’er Al-Darajat, Al-Hassan Al-Helli, 1st ed., p.200
Himran ibn A’ayun narrated: I asked Abu Ja’far (PBUH): “Is there anything that took place in the Children of Israel, which will not take place here?” He (From Him is Peace) said: “No.” Then I asked: “So tell me about the saying of Allah (on the Children of Israel): {Have you not considered those who went forth from their homes, for fear of death, and they were thousands, then Allah said to them, Die, and then He again gave them life} (Holy Quran, Al-Baqara verse 243) So did Allah bring them back to life until the people looked at them and then He SWT caused them to die again, or He SWT brought them back to this world?” So he (pbuh) said: “Rather, He SWT brought them back to this world and they lived in houses and ate food and married women, and they remained alive after that until Allah willed, then they died after fulfilling their age.” Bihar Al-Anwar, Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi, 3rd ed., v. 53, p. 74, hadith 74 , Mukhtasar Basa’er Al-Darajat, Al-Hassan Al-Helli, 1st ed., p.23-24
Abi Baseer said: Abu Ja’far, meaning Imam Al-Baqir (PBUH), said to me: “Do the people of Iraq deny the Raja’a (The Return)?” So I said: Yes. So he (From Him is Peace) said: “Haven’t they read the Quran {And the Day when We will gather from every nation a group}?” (Holy Quran, An-Naml verse 83). Bihar Al-Anwar, Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi, 3rd ed., v.53, p.40, hadith 6
Imam Al-Sadiq (From Him is Peace) was asked about the saying of Allah SWT {And the Day when We will gather from every nation a group of those who deny Our signs, and they will be [driven] in rows} (Holy Quran, An-Naml verse 83). So he (From Him is Peace) said: “What do the people say regarding it?” So I said: “They say it is about the Day of Resurrection”.
So he (From Him is Peace) said: “Would Allah gather on the Day of Resurrection one group from every nation and leave the rest?! Rather indeed it is about the Raja’a (The Return). As for the verse of the Day of Resurrection it is the following: {…and We will gather them and not leave behind from them anyone * And they will be presented before your Lord in rows, [and He will say] You have certainly come to Us just as We created you the first time. But you claimed that We would never make for you an appointment}” (Holy Quran, Al-Kahf verses 47-48). Bihar Al-Anwar, Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi, 3rd ed., v.53, p.51, hadith 27, Mukhtasar Basa’er Al-Darajat, Al-Hassan Al-Helli, 1st ed., p.41-42
From Muthannah Al-Hannat, from Ja’far ibn Muhammad (PBUT), that he (From Him is Peace) said: “The days of Allah the Almighty are three, the day the Qa’im rises, the day of the Return (the Raja’a) and the Day of Resurrection.” Ma’ani Al-Akhbar, Muhammad ibn Ali Babawayh ‘Al-Sadooq’, 1st ed., p.366
Al-Ma’mun Al-Abbasi questioned Imam Al-Rida (From Him is Peace) in a long narration saying: “O father of Al-Hassan what do you say about the return? Al-Rida (From Him is Peace) said: It is the truth, and was present with the past nations and the Quran spoke of it and the Prophet of Allah (PBUH and his family) has said: this nation shall have all what the past nations had the example of ‘sandal by sandal and arrow by arrow’…” Uyun Akhbar Al-Ridha, Muhammad ibn Ali Babawayh ‘Al-Sadooq’, 1st ed., v.2, p.218, Bihar Al-Anwar, Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi, 3rd ed., v.53, p.59, hadith 45
Zurara narrated: “I did not want to ask Imam Al-Baqir Aba Ja’far (PBUH) about the Raja’a (if death and being slain are the same). So I had a good idea to inform him of my need, so I said: “Tell me about who was killed and died” He (PBUH) replied: “ No, death is death and killing is killing”. So I said: “No one is killed except that he dies”. So He (PBUH) said: “O Zurara! The saying of Allah is more truthful than you're saying, Allah has differentiated between dying and being killed in the Quran”. Then He (pbuh) recited {So if he was to die or be killed} (Holy Quran, Al-Imran verse 144) and {And whether you die or are killed, unto Allah you will be gathered.} (Holy Quran, Al-Imran verse 158). “So it is not as you said O Zurara, death is death and killing is killing, Allah the Almighty said: {Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their own selves and their wealth [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Quran. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah?} (Holy Quran, At-Tawba verse 111)”. I said: “Allah the Almighty says: {Every soul will taste death} (Holy Quran, Al-Anbiyaa verse 35). Do you see that the one who is killed (by weapon) does not taste death?” So He (PBUH) said: “He who is killed by the sword is not like the one who dies in his bed. Whoever was killed (from the believers) must return to the world till he tastes death (natural death)”. Bihar Al-Anwar, Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi, 3rd ed., v.53, p.65, hadith 58
Abdurrahman ibn Qasir narrated that Imam Al-Baqir (PBUH) recited the verse: {Surely Allah has purchased from the believers their own selves} (Holy Quran, At-Tawba verse 111) and then said: “Do you know who is being referred to?” So I said: “The believers fight, so they kill and are killed” He (PBUH) said: Anyone among the believers who was killed will be resurrected till he dies, and anyone among them who died (a natural death) will be resurrected till he is killed. And this is the power of Allah, so do not deny it.” Bihar Al-Anwar, Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi, 3rd ed., v.53, p.74, hadith 73
Faydh ibn Abi Shaybah narrated: I heard Imam Al-Sadiq (PBUH) recite this verse {and when Allah took the covenant of the prophets} (Holy Quran, Al-Imran verse 81) and say: “All the prophets believe in the prophet of Allah [Muhammad] (PBUH & His Family) and give victory to Ali the Commander of the Believers (PBUH)”. He (PBUH) said: “Yes, and Allah has not sent a prophet nor a messenger since the time of Adam (PBUH) except that He has resurrected them all back to the world, to fight along with Ali ibn Abi Talib the Commander of the believers (PBUH)”. Mukhtasar Basa’er Al-Darajat, Al-Hassan Al-Helli, 1st ed., p.25-26
AbdulKareem ibn Umar Al-Khatha’mi said: I heard that Aba Abdillah Imam Al Sadiq (PBUH) said: Iblis said to Allah: {He said: my Lord! Then respite me till the time when they are raised} (Holy Quran, Al-Hijr verse 36) and Allah SWT did not accept his request and said: {He said: so surely you are of the respited ones till the day of the Known Time.} (Holy Quran, Al-Hijr verses 37-38). So when the day of the Known Time comes Iblis, may Allah curse him, and all his followers since the creation of Adam (pbuh) till that day, appear. That time will be the last Return (Raja’a) of the Commander of the Believers (pbuh).
So I said to Aba Abdillah (pbuh): “And is it Rounds?” So he (pbuh) said: “Yes, it is Rounds and Rounds, and indeed there is no Imam in a century except that the righteous and the immoral return with him during his age, so that Allah makes the believer victorious over the disbelievers. So if the day of the Known Time comes, the Commander of the Believers (From Him is Peace) will return among his companions, and Iblis comes among his companions, and their appointment will be in a land from the lands of the Euphrates which is called ‘Al-Rouha’ which is close to your Kufa.
So they will fight a fighting which no one has fought since Allah the Almighty created the worlds.
It is as if I am looking at the companions of the Commander of the Believers (PBUH), they take back a hundred steps and it is as if I am looking at them while some of their feet have reached the Euphrates, at that moment [the manifestation of] Allah, the Compellor, the Almighty and Glorious, descends {…in the shadows of the clouds with the angels [as well] and the matter is [then] decided} (Holy Quran, Al-Baqara verse 210) and the promise will be fulfilled; and the Messenger of Allah (sawas) has a bayonet of light in his hand, so if Iblis looked at him (Mohammed PBUH and his family), he will return backing down turning on his heels.
So his companions say to him: Where are you going while you are victorious? Iblis says: {surely I see what you do not see, surely I fear Allah} (Holy Quran, Al-Anfal verse 48) so the Prophet (PBUH and his family) will catch him and will stab him between his shoulders, and such will be the destruction of him and the destruction of all his followers, so then Allah the Almighty the Glorious will be worshipped [truly] and no one will associate partners to Him, and the Commander of the Believers (pbuh) will rule for 44,000 years, until the man from Ali’s (From him is peace) Shia will have a thousand sons from his loins … and this is when two dark green gardens will appear near/at the mosque of Kufa and what surrounds it, by what Allah wills.” Mukhtasar Basa’er Al-Darajat, Al-Hassan Al-Helli, 1st ed., p.26-27
Abu Abdillah (PBUH) said about the Raja’a: “Yes, it is Rounds and Rounds, and indeed there is no Imam in a century except that the righteous and the immoral return with him during his age, so that Allah makes the believer victorious over the disbelievers.” Bihar Al-Anwar, Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi, 3rd ed., v.53, p.42, hadith 12, Mukhtasar Basa’er Al-Darajat, Al-Hassan Al-Helli, 1st ed., p.26-27
Imam Ali (PBUH) said: “Astonishment and all astonishment is between Jamadi and Rajab.” So a man stood up and said: O Commander of the believers, what is this astonishing matter which you are still being astonished by? So he (PBUH) said: May your mother mourn over you! And what matter is more astonishing than dead ones striking every enemy of Allah and His Messenger and his Ahlulbayt! And this is the interpretation of this verse: {O you who have believed, do not make allies of a people with whom Allah has become angry. They have despaired of the Hereafter just as the disbelievers have despaired of the companions of the graves} (Holy Quran, Al-Mumtahana verse 13)” Bihar Al-Anwar, Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi, 3rd ed., v.53, p.60, hadith 48
Ibn Abi Umair narrated from Mufaddal from Abi Abdillah (PBUH) about the saying of Allah the Almighty: {On that day we shall gather a crowd from every nation} (Holy Quran, An-Naml verse 83), he (PBUH) said: “There is not a single believer who was killed except that he returns to the world until he dies, and none return except the ones who have reached the epitome of faith and the ones who have reached the epitome of disbelief.” Tafsir Al-Qommi, Ali Ibrahim Al-Qommi, 1387 H edn., v.2, p.131. Bihar Al-Anwar, Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi, 3rd ed., v.53, p.53, hadith 30
From Jamil ibn Darraj, he said: “I asked Imam Al-Sadiq (PBUH) about the word of Allah the Almighty the Glorious: {Surely, we shall give victory to our messengers and the believers both in this world and on the day when the witnesses rise.}” (Holy Quran, Ghafir verse 51) He (PBUH) said: “By Allah this will be in Al-Raja’a (the Return). Do you not know that many prophets of Allah were not given victory in this world and were killed, and Imams were killed and were not given victory? So that will be in Al-Raja’a.” I said: {Listen for the day when the caller will call from a nearby place. On the day when they will hear the shout in truth. That is the Day of the Emergence.} (Holy Quran, Qaf verses 41-42) He (PBUH) said: “That is Al-Raja’a (the Return)” Mukhtasar Basa’er Al-Darajat, Al-Hassan Al-Helli, 1st ed., p.18-19
It is narrated on the commentary of the verse: {And say, “[All] praise is [due] to Allah. He will show you His Signs, and you will recognize them. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do.” (Holy Quran, An-Naml verse 93) Imam Al-Sadiq (PBUH) said: “When the Commander of the Believers and the Imams (PBUT) return, their enemies recognize them when they see them and the proof that the Signs are the Imams is the saying of the Commander of the Believers (PBUH): ‘God has no sign greater than me’. So when they return to the dunya (world) their enemies recognize them if they see them in the dunya”. Bihar Al-Anwar, Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi, 3rd ed., v.53, p. 53-54, hadith 31
Abu Hamza Al-Thimali narrated that Abu Ja’far (PBUH) said in a hadith about the Raja’a: “…so how amazing it is that dead people will be resurrected alive by Allah, time after time, while they had carried their swords, striking with them the heads of the tyrants/oppressors and their followers, until Allah fulfils what He has promised them…” Al-Iqath Min Al-Hoja’a BelBorhan A’la Al-Raja’a, Al-Hurr Al-Amili, 1st ed., p.287, hadith 66
Asem ibn Humayd narrated that Abu Ja’far Al-Baqir (PBUH) said: “The Commander of the Believers (PBUH) said: Verily Allah The Blessed The Exalted, the One, The Indivisible, He made Himself singular in His oneness, then He spoke a word, so it became a light, then He created Muhammad (PBUH and his family) from that light […] so how amazing! And how could I not be amazed from dead people whom Allah will resurrect alive, they will respond, one group after another group, with the response “at your service, at your service, O Caller of Allah!” They will walk in the paths of Kufa, carrying their swords on their shoulders, in order to strike with them the heads of the tyrants/oppressors and their followers, from the tyrants/oppressors of the first ones and the last ones! Until Allah fulfils what He has promised them in His SWT saying: {Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them successorship upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them, and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He has preferred for them, and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me} (Holy Quran, An-Nur verse 55).
Meaning worship Me while feeling safe, they do not fear anyone from my servants, they do not have Taqiyyah. And verily, for me is the round after the round, and the Raja’a (the return) after the Raja’a, and I am the companion/owner of the Raja’a and the Rounds.” Bihar Al-Anwar, Muhammad Baqir Al-Majlisi, 3rd ed., v.53, p. 46-47, hadith 20, Mukhtasar Basa’er Al-Darajat, Al-Hassan Al-Helli, 1st ed., p. 32-33
It is reported the Prophet pbuhahf said: "For Allah swt there are four thousand Names. A thousand, none knows these except Allah swt, and a thousand, none knows these except Allah swt and the Angels, and a thousand, none knows these except Allah swt, and the Angels, and the Prophets pbut.
And as for the fourth thousand, the Momineen know it – three hundred of these are in the Torah, and three hundred are in the Evangel, and three hundred are in the Psalms, and a hundred are in the Quran, ninety-nine are apparent, and one of these is Hidden. One who counts (learns) these would enter the Paradise’’.

And from him (Al Kulayni), from Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father and Ali Bin Muhammad, from Al Qasim Bin Muhammad, from Suleyman Bin Dawood, from Hafs Bin Ghayaas,
“I asked him (Abu Abdullah) a.s. about the Words of Allah swt Mighty and Majestic, the Month of Ramazan is that in which the Quran was Revealed [2:185], but rather it was Revealed during twenty years between its first and its last”. So Abu Abdullah a.s. said: “The Quran was Revealed as a whole in one go during the Month of Ramazan to the Frequented House (البيت المعمور ), and then it was Revealed in length over twenty years”. Then he a.s. said: “The Prophet pbuhahf said: ‘The Parchment of Ibrahim a.s. was Revealed during the first night from the Month of Ramazan, and the Torah was Revealed when two (days) had not lapsed from the Month of Ramazan, and the Evangel, when thirteen nights (lapsed) from the Month of Ramazan, and the Psalms was Revealed on the eighteenth from the Month of Ramazan, and the Quran was Revealed during the twenty-third of the Month of Ramazan’”. - Al Kafi 6:460-2
It has been narrated to us by Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Muhammad Bin Azaafar, from Abdullah Bin Sinan, from one of our companions,
“Abu Ja’far pbuh said that: ‘Allah swt Blessed and High, enlightened Muhammad pbuhahf. When he pbuhahf achieved the morals, (Allah swt) placed to him (the Religion). The Blessed and High said: And whatever the Rasool gives you, accept it, and from whatever he forbids you, keep back [59:7]. He swt said: Whoever obeys the Rasool, he indeed obeys Allah [4:80]. Allah swt obligated the obligations from the ‘Ahl Al-Bayt’ (The Family of the Prophet pbuhahf) and Rasool Allah pbuhahf included in it the ancestors. Allah swt permitted that for him, and Allah swt sent down in His Book the Prohibition of alcohol especially. Rasool Allah pbuhahf prohibited the intoxicants. Allah swt permitted that for him in many of the things. The prohibition of the Rasool Allah pbuhahf is of the same status of the Prohibition of Allah swt’". - Basaair Al Darajaat CH 4 H16
It has been narrated to us by Abdullah Bin Aamir, from Abu Abdullah Al-Barqy, from Al-Hassan Bin Usman, from Muhammad Bin Al-Fazeyl, from Abu Hamza Al-Thumaly who said:
“I recited this Verse to Abu Ja’far pbuh, ‘You have no concern in the affair’ [3:128], the statement of Allah swt to His Prophet pbuhahf, and I wanted that I should ask him about it”. Abu Ja’far a.s. said: “And a thing and something twice, and how can there be for him from the Commands, a thing. Allah swt had placed His Religion to him. He swt said, 'And whatever the Rasool gives you, accept it, and from whatever he forbids you, keep back’ [59:7]. Whatever the Rasool Allah pbuhahf has permitted, it is permissible, and what he has prohibited, it is forbidden”.
