Throughout the book, the Goal of the Wise as well as the episodes in the Mahdi Has Appeared YouTube channel, and on his Facebook page, Aba Al-Sadiq (From Him Is Peace) has provided us with groundbreaking knowledge in regards to the Qur'an.
An individual once asked Aba Al-Sadiq (From Him Is Peace) what he thinks about the Qur'an and his response was,
“Walykum assalam Wrwb Mohammed Ouchiakh
All thanks due to Allah who guides His sincere servants.
There is no book with more guidance or light than the Holy Qur’an when accompanied by the living Qur’an, the Imam of the time who gives us its interpretation, shows us the Muhkim and Mutashabah, the apparent and the esoteric meanings, and guides us to the straight path. And there is no book that is used to misguide more than the Qur’an when interpreted by those who do not have authority and when missing the companionship of a divinely appointed Imam from Allah. Verily the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH and his family) said about the Qur’an and his household that they would never separate from one another until they met him at the pond of alkawthar.
That means that people can not benefit from one without the other. It’s the same as if you had the most advanced book on Algebra, Trigonometry, or Physics and then it was interpreted for you and taught to you by a person who could not read. The same is true for the Qur’an. Without a person well versed in the divine knowledge of Allah, the book without a teacher is useless, rather it would turn into a source of misguidance.
So you cannot believe in just the Qur’an.
The words of the Imam from God are the same as the Qur’an just as the words of Mohammed (PBUH and his family) were the same as the words of the Qur’an.
Allah said in the Qur’an: “Whatever the Messenger gives you, take it. And whatever he forbids you from, leave it.” And he said, “It is but an inspiration being inspired.” So all of the words of the divinely appointed Messenger or Imam is the same as the Qur’an. It is all inspired by God.
In the interpretation of the verse “And you do not will except that Allah wills.” The Ahlul Bayt (PBUT) said: “Verily God made the hearts of the Imams a destination for His will, if He wills something they will it.” And Imam Al Sadiq (From Him is Peace) said: “Because God made His will for them not for the general people.”
So in short you must believe in their words and not in the books or words of scholars or their interpretations. And you know which narrations are right and which are wrong from the Imam of your time. And the person who has not yet found the Imam of his time should not deny any of the words that he hears that are attributed to the Family of Mohammed (PBUH and his family) lest he deny something from God himself.
And those who do this will find us, and Allah does not misguide His sincere servants and Allah guides whoever wills to be guided.
Having said that, I am mentioned in the book of Allah by name.
“And that when the Servant of Allah stood up supplicating Him, they almost became about him a compacted mass.”
I am the servant of Allah.”
-Aba Al-Sadiq (From Him is Peace)
And Samar Saad asked:
May the peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you, and may Allah bless you, I have many questions but I’m afraid I would bother you, maybe you do not have enough time.
My first question is, what is the meaning of the individual letters at the beginning of the Qur’an chapters, such as Alif, Lam, Meem…Alif, Lam, Meem, Raa…Qaf…Nun...?
Aba Al-Sadiq’s (From Him Is Peace) answer was:
“The letters represent people, proofs of Allah.”

Aba Al-Sadiq (From Him Is Peace) also provided some of the true verses that are mentioned in the original Qur'an.
Then the Imam (From Him is Peace) recited a verse not found in the current Holy Qur’an thatis publicly available, “ قد أفلح من دحاھا …” and he said, “hellfire is the sun.”
This verse ‘qad aflaHa man daHaha’ translates as ‘Successful is he who has expanded it’. This is among the verses in the Holy Qur’an that will be revealed and is not in the current version that is in the hands of the people. The complete Holy Qur’an is in the hands of the Qaim/Riser of the Family of Mohammed (PBUH & His Family).- The Goal of the Wise, Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq (From Him is Peace), Door 20 (Heaven and Hell), p. 253
Aba Al-Sadiq (From Him Is Peace) also provided information on some of the corruption in the Qur'an.
The Imam (From Him is Peace) said, “In the Qur’an there is a verse: ‘The male thief and the female thief: then (eqta’u) cut off the hands of both, as a recompense for what they (both) have earned, as a torture from Allah; and Allah is Ever-Mighty, Ever-Wise’ ”
I said, “Was this verse corrupted?”
The Imam (From Him is Peace) said, “Yes, it really came down as ‘The male thief and the female thief: then (baqqi’o) stain the hands of both, as a recompense for what they (both) have earned, as a torture from Allah; and Allah is Ever-Mighty, Ever-Wise.’ ”
I said, “So there is no verse in the Qur’an commanding that the hands of the thief be cut off?”
The Imam (From Him is Peace) said, “No, there was a special plant that was dark in color and contained a dye which was hard to remove. They would dye the hands of the thief so he could be an example to others.”- The Goal of the Wise, Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq (From Him is Peace), Door 29 (The Corruption of the Qur'an), p. 379
One day Adam (PBUH) and I were speaking about the Qur’an and he pointed towards a verse of the Qur’an that I had hanging in the room and said, “I heard from Abraham (PBUH) the manner in which this verse ‘And verily your Lord shall give you, so that you shall be well-pleased’ came down.”
- The Holy Qur’an, Chapter 93 (Al-Dhuha), Verse 5
I said, “What did you hear?”
Adam (PBUH) said, “He said it came down as ‘And verily your Lord Al-Murtada shall give you so that you shall be well-pleased.’ ”

Another revelation that Aba Al-Sadiq (From Him Is Peace) had showcased to the world that the Qur'an are the words of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH & His Family).
Now, we are not saying that the Qur'an is made up or that it is not from God. But in order to understand we must tap into the topic of revelation and explore the methods of communication that God had between Him and his divinely appointed representative on earth.
“And we find that just like the Prophet Mohammed received the true dreams and the inspiration into his heart, and he spoke it to answer questions or to interpret certain words or commandments of God, and just like the Prophet Mohammed communicated with God through a third party, and that was the Archangel Gabriel, we find also that the Prophet Mohammed did speak to God directly and did hear his voice firsthand. And this occurred when the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH & His Family) went on the Night Journey. And the Night Journey occurs early on in the life of the Prophet Mohammed […]
And we have further proof in some of the surahs of the Qur'an, for example, in Surah Al-Fatiha there's a verse where it states; "إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ ," (Iyyaka naAAbudu wa-iyyaka nastaAAeen) "it is you that we worship and it is you that we depend on." And so whose words are these? Is it God's direct words, where God is revealing to the Prophet Mohammed this verse word for word? Is it God that states "It is you that we worship, and it is you that we depend on?" Or rather, if God was speaking the exact words, he would've said, "It is I who you worship and it is I who you depend on." So it is clear that the speaker in Surah Al-Fatiha is actually the Prophet Mohammed (SAWA), and that Surah Al-Fatiha is a prayer that God inspired the Prophet Mohammed to speak. And so the prayer itself, the meaning of it is the same. It's guarded. And that is that God is the one who we worship and it is God who is the one that we depend on. But the exact phrasing was the phrasing of the Prophet Mohammed (SAWA). And it was the Prophet Mohammed who wrote the Qur'an and dictated the Qur'an in his own words. And it is also clear from verses in the Qur'an and from the narrations that at times the Prophet would give a verse and that verse would be forgotten, but that God would still safeguard the message, and He would replace any verse that was forgotten with a better verse. Why? Because it's the meaning that's preserved. The message the Prophet never forgot, but he might've forgotten the wording which whereby it came out. So he would have to reword it. But the message is always preserved and it is never forgotten.
And so that was the great struggle that the Prophets and the Messengers had, and it was the struggle to be able to successfully and clearly and coherently take this information that was being downloaded in their chests and deliver it to the people in a human language, that is their job. That's why God chooses a man to represent his word, because it is a man that's able to communicate in human or in man language to the rest of mankind. And now that we know this, we also know that the verse from the Qur'an that says that, “it is only inspiration that is inspired.” This does not just apply to what the Prophet Mohammed placed in the Qur'an, but rather everything that he spoke was inspiration. Because there's a verse in the Qur'an that states, “And he does not speak from his self or from desire. It is only inspiration that's inspired to him.” And so the Prophet Mohammed every single word that he spoke […]
But all the words of the Prophet Mohammed and every action and every step that he took was not from himself, but rather, it was inspired from God. And therefore, the Qur'an is not just limited to what is in the physical book, but rather the Prophet himself is the Qur'an, and his actions are the Qur'an, and all of the true hadiths that the Prophet spoke, all of his words were also Qur'an. They were also inspiration from God. And that is a reason why too, the Prophet was given this... He had this seal, and the seal stated "Go forth in any direction that you will. Verily, you are victorious." And so the Prophet after the Night Journey, all of his words being inspiration, all of his actions being inspiration, any action that he took would've been an enforced one, and would've been an action from God. And anybody who was around the Prophet Mohammed, they would've been around God. Because it would be not the Prophet Mohammed that they are communicating with, or asking questions to, or giving gifts to, or establishing a relationship with. But rather they would be giving gifts, or talking with, or ... and the responses would be all inspirations and responses from God. And therefore, whoever finds the Prophet of Allah has found Allah because Allah was inseparable from the Prophet Mohammed (SAWA). And the Prophet Mohammed was merely a translator so that the people that were existing in that time could establish a relationship with God. And the more that you knew Mohammed, the more that you knew Allah (subhanahu wa taala). And so those who seek to have a relationship with God have to have a relationship with the Messenger. And those who know the Messenger come to know God. And those who are unable to know the Messenger are unable to know God. And those who fight against the Messenger fight against God and those who attack the Messenger or mock the Messenger, they're actually attacking or they're mocking God. So we'll pause at that point and we'll leave it there, and we'll continue to build on this topic over the course of the coming period so that a picture becomes more and more clear. And we see how the religion is a man. And that man is the translator, the spokesperson, the existence of God, so to speak in creation.”
